Happy Shopping at Mimi Holiday

I love to be smart savvy! I knew that my absolutely favourite underwear brand Mimi Holiday had sale online (thanks to my colleague who told me about it). I have never bought anything from this brand because it is soooo expensive, but when it's on sale it becomes more justifying to spend so much money on underwear.
I went to NK today to try them and they felt soooo nice, so good style and quality, and the staff was so nice! Now I know the HUGE difference that exists between lowbudget H&M underwear and quality underwear!!! When on sale, Mimi is only triple priced compared to H&M...which is definitely worth it!!!

Can't wait to receive them. My colleague and I bought together so that we can split the shipping fee as well. Soooo smart savvy!!! They are about 60% cheaper than NK....hehehehe. I bought a nightslip, underwear set, and a balconette bra!!! So excited to receive them, hope they fit!!!

OMG this looks good - Cafe Egoiste

One of my favourite cafes in Stockholm has opened up a second branch!!!
Cafe Saturnus (famous for their huge traditional Swedish cinnamon buns) has opened up Cafe Egoiste inside the new department store MOOD (Finally we have a new trendy department store in Stockholm after all these years with nothing fun). I still haven't had time to visit it yet because I'm stuck by the harbour (where I work) and never gets the chance to visit downtown Stockholm (good for my wallet though).

Anyway, just saw this menu from Cafe Egoiste and I can't wait to try it out!!! Cafe Saturnus makes the best fries I have ever tasted (not even in the US I have had as delicious fries as Saturnus serves!!!)

Yeeeeeeeeehaaaaaa great food is fantastic!

Tomorrow I will have a meeting in downtown, better make time for a visit at MOOD laaaah!!!

So wise!!! I couldnt not agree more on this quote! Especially the second sentence.
I find myself often to be blamed because I often have preconceptions of the people that I first meet (simply because I am quite confident when it comes to reading peoples minds). I remember first time I said hi to my colleague that was going on parental leave, my first thought was "this guy looks like such a snob." It turns out that he is one of the most down to earth and easy-to-talk-to guy I have ever met as well as the most curious person that I have met, he is genuinly interested in new knowledge no matter topic. It was my mistake to judge him like that.

Second example is one of my better friends C. I started to know her since we were colleagues at my previous job at the Consulate. She was very difficult to comprehend because she seemed so serious and adultish all the time whereas I was loud and felt often misplaced at the Consulate (professionalim certainly does not come natural for me but is something that I have learnt through the jobs I have had). I even had problems with C initially because I thought that she was not interested in getting to know me because of my childiness. Turns out that after some time and space we became close friends, mostly because we both have a big passion for chocolate and I think that is how our friendship evolved. I often brought chocolate to work and that is how we started to talk more, thus knowing each other better. Imagine that such a little common interest such as chocolate can connect two people to become close friends.

Third example is with my boyfriend. First time I met him I thought that he was really arrogant and uninterested. He was one of those kind of people that I really dislike (you know those people that you try to initiate a convesation with but they are just emotionless and bring the conversation down simply because they are not interested in talking to you...). It's quite amazing that he is my boyfriend today considering the circumstances.

What I want to conclude is that there is always space (small or big) for new friendships. It's not about how much common interests you have but more about the mutual respect and curiosity you feel and have for each other :-)

Longing for summer!

Eating dinner on the balcony with great view over beautiful Stockholm!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I cannot believe that I am going to say this, but Stockholm may be better than Shanghai in the summer :-)
We are soon there, just 2 more months....

Driving Lesson with private teacher aka bf

 After a delicious brunch at the office we decided to use the big public parking lot for my first driving lesson ever. Since it is Sunday today there were no one at work, so therefore an empty parking lot to use which is perfect for me as a first-time-behind-the-wheel student.
The driving went quite well :-) I think I got talent for this :-P The difficult part is to switch on the gearshift...need to practice more on that, otherwise I'm good to go!!

So lucky that I also get to drive the world's cutest car a blue mini cooper!!! My favourite car!!! If I receive my driving lesson within 3 years I'm going to buy a Red Mini Cooper or the cheapest Porsche available. I better start saving some money now for my future car budget!

Miu miu dress on discount!

Miu miu dress bought on Taobao for the "great deal"-price of 500RMB.
Think it must be second-tier clothing that couldn't be sold at the official flagship store and that is why it is sold for a very cheap price! Of course there is a chance that it can be fake as well but the quality and design just breathes miu miu!!!
Amazing for me :-D

Taobao treasures

Dress from Taobao - JoanneKitten shop. 150RMB!!! Such a bargain. You can wear it for several occasions.
At work I wear it with a office blazer and slim black pants and let the skirtpart of the dress to disappear. Or for a celebration event, I wear it only with pants and let my chubby arms to show. However if I'm going to a club during summer I would probably wear it as in this photo :-)

Great quality and comfort, amazing how you can find great pieces for a bargain price. Makes me never want to shop in Sweden any longer except baaaaaaaaaaaags.
